Footsteps

My quest for the identity of Valiasr Street eventually led me to humans. I realized the major source of identity for a place is the presence of humans. Houses are mementos of good or bad people that are integral parts of the identity of a street, creating the past of a city or the history of a nation. This complex is a small part of the houses owned by prominent figures that have lived on Valiasr Street since Qajar period and have either faded into the bedlam in Tehran city or have been forsaken in the mists of time.
